NEW YORK–(ENEWSPF)–5 July 2010 – Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has commended States in the Caribbean region for their commitment to supporting Haiti following the devastating earthquake in January and urged them to continue their engagement there, saying the country will need consistent assistance from the international community to recover.
