USGS Scientists, Research Help Haiti Reconstruction

Reston, VA–(ENEWSPF)–March 4, 2010.  USGS scientists are helping Haitians lay the groundwork for reconstruction and long-term earthquake monitoring in the wake of the Jan. 12, 2010, magnitude-7 earthquake, by providing geologic research that will assist with the establishment of new building codes in the country.
