CDC Adds The Bahamas to Interim Travel Guidance Related to Zika Virus

Atlanta, GA–(ENEWSPF)–August 23, 2016.  CDC is working with other public health officials to monitor for ongoing Zika virus‎ transmission. Today, CDC posted a Zika virus travel notice for The Bahamas. Local transmission of Zika has been reported on the island of New Providence, which includes the capital city of Nassau. CDC has issued travel notices (level 2, “practice enhanced precautions”) for people traveling to destinations with Zika.
