Washington, DC–(ENEWSPF)–September 6, 2013. Today, Congresswoman Tammy Duckworth (IL-08) announced a grant of $650,000 to the American Academy of Pediatrics in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. The Department of Health and Human Services grant will go toward awareness and access to care for children and youth with epilepsy. The American Academy of Pediatrics is a professional association of nearly 60,000 pediatricians dedicated to the health and well-being of infants, children and young adults.
