Today, Congresswoman Tammy Duckworth (IL-08) announced that the Department of Health and Human Services awarded a $125,000 grant to fund the Informate (Get Informed) project at Renz Addiction Counseling Center in Elgin, Illinois. The Informate Project will offer substance abuse and HIV prevention awareness and education services to high risk Latinos to reduce behaviors that lead to substance abuse and HIV infection.
