FTC Tells Consumers They May Be Due a Refund If They Purchased Walgreens’ ‘Wal-Born’ Cold and Flu Supplements

Washington, DC–(ENEWSPF)–November 1, 2012. If you purchased “Wal-Born” – a Walgreens’ brand dietary supplement, the Federal Trade Commission wants you to know that you may be eligible for a refund.

National pharmacy chain Walgreens agreed to pay nearly $6 million in 2010, to settle FTC charges that it deceptively advertised that its “Wal-Born” line could effectively prevent colds, fight germs, and boost the immune system.  The money will be used to provide refunds.
