Today, Senators Ron Wyden, D-Ore., Patty Murray, D-Wash., Cory Booker, D-N.J., and 15 of their Democratic colleagues introduced the Therapeutic Fraud Prevention Act, legislation to classify “conversion therapy” as a fraudulent practice that would be illegal under the Federal Trade Commission’s (FTC) authority.
