Planned Parenthood Calls for Continued Access to Contraception and Education
Washington, DC–(ENEWSPF)–June 21, 2012. New data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) National Center for Health Statistics shows a 40 percent drop in the U.S. teen pregnancy rate from 1990 to 2008, the lowest recorded level since 1976. Pregnancy rates for women in their early 20s declined to the lowest level in more than three decades.
