Washington, DC–(ENEWSPF)–September 30, 2014. Though the Agricultural Act of 2014, or âFarm Bill,â was one of missed deadlines and years of debate (sustainability was not a big winner), there were small victories in support of organic research and local food systems. According to The New York Times, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) will begin releasing some of this much needed funding, with $52 million to start in the promotion of local and organic food.
