Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)— The final DUI charge of 2025 was a felony, according to Park Forest police, capping off a record 140 DUI arrests last year. Police said in a statement that they charged 140 people with DUI in 2025. This represents “the highest total recorded by the department and a sharp increase from recent years,” according to the statement. “The number represents a 59% increase from 2024, when officers made 88 DUI arrests. In 2023, the department recorded 56 DUI arrests,” police said.
