Matteson, IL-(ENEWSPF)- Matteson Elementary School District 162’s 2013-2014 registration for new and returning students will be August 7th – August 9that the Matteson School District 162 Office, 4601 Sauk Trail, Richton Park. At registration, student packets containing important information concerning grade, school, teacher assignments, and bus assignments will be distributed.
Student Textbook, Materials, Technology (TMT) Fees are due at registration.
All checks or money orders should be made payable to Matteson School District 162. A single check or money order may be used for an entire family. Fees may also be paid online with VISA or MasterCard using the District 162 webstore, which is on the school district website: www.sd162.org.

Fee waivers are not linked to the free lunch application. The fee waiver process requires documentation from anyone wishing to apply. All applicants must complete a Fee Waiver Application and provide evidence for the required verification of income. Fee waiver applicants must provide documents that show the household’s current income or evidence of participation in government assistance programs. One of the following forms of income verification should be included with the application:
- SNAP/TANF Statement
- Social Security Income or Disability Benefits Statement
- Foster Placement Documentation
- 2012 IRS 1040 Form Tax Return and two current pay stubs for all working household members
