Washington, DC—(ENEWSPF)—October 7, 2013. “Why do they hate us?” is the question Americans have been asking for decades now. It is in reference to anyone from another country who commits acts of violence against the United States, or speaks out against American foreign policies, imperialism, culture…. whatever. George W Bush famously once said, ‘They hate us for who we are, not what we do’.

Well here at CODEPINK we strongly disagree. We think that the American public deserves that in fact it IS what we do that makes people hate us, and one of the worst things we do is terrorize people with our killer and spy drones. Drones have been flying over Iraq and Afghanistan for years, as well as other countries that we’re not even at war with, like Pakistan, Yemen, and Somalia. We’ve even dropped drone bombs on the Philippines!
