CPI for All Items Increases 0.5% in June 2013; Gasoline, Shelter, Medical Care, Food All Rise

Washington, DC—(ENEWSPF)—July 16, 2013. The Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) increased 0.5 percent in June on a seasonally adjusted basis, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. Over the last 12 months, the all items index increased 1.8 percent before seasonal adjustment.
