Five Doctors Without Borders Staff Held in Syria Released

GENEVA, SWITZERLAND–(ENEWSPF)–May 16, 2014.  The international medical humanitarian organization Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) today confirmed that five of its staff members held in Syria have been safely released. The organization strongly condemns this abduction, which has forced the permanent closure of one of its hospitals and two health centers in the Jabal Akkrad region in northwestern Syria.
