NEW YORK—(ENEWSPF)—December 17, 2015. Hillary Clinton announced today new proposals that would promote equality and protect the LGBT community from discrimination. While the Supreme Court recognized that under the Constitution every person has the right to marry whomever they love, many LGBT individuals face discrimination in the workplace, at their places of worship, and in their daily lives. In order to advance equality, as President, Clinton will pursue policies that include fighting for passage of the Equality Act; supporting efforts to end LGBT conversion therapy for minors; ending discriminatory treatment of LGBT families; and protecting transgender individuals from violence.
