Jobless Rates Down in 37 States, Up in 7 in Oct.; Payroll Jobs Up in 35 States, Down in 15

Washington, DC—(ENEWSPF)—November 20, 2012. Regional and state unemployment rates were little changed in October. Thirty-seven states and the District of Columbia recorded unemployment rate decreases, seven states posted rate increases, and six states had no change, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today.
