Today, an active shooter situation unfolded down in Florida’s Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.

According to officials at the airport, the shooting began a couple of hours ago in the lower level baggage claim area of Terminal 2.

Update: 5 ppl dead; 8 injured were taken to an area hospital.
