WASHINGTON—(ENEWSPF)–September 10, 2013 –The Senate Judiciary Committee held a hearing today titled “Conflicts Between State and Federal Marijuana Laws.” Chairman Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.), who has pressed the administration on the issue since last year, recently welcomed the Justice Department’s release of guidelines for enforcement of federal marijuana laws in light of action at the state level.
