Today Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee Chairman Chris Dodd (D-CT) along with Senators Robert Menendez (D-NJ), Dick Durbin (D-IL), Charles Schumer (D-NY), Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ), Sherrod Brown (D-OH), Jack Reed (D-RI), and Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) introduced a bill to authorize emergency funding for transit agencies to help reverse fare increases and service cuts.
