Seven Members of the Occupation of Freedom Plaza Arrested at House Armed Services Committee Meeting, Oct. 13, 2011 (11 AM EDT)

Washington, DC—(ENEWSPF)—October 13, 2011 – UPDATE 11 AM EDT.  Seven members of the occupation of Freedom Plaza were arrested at a House Armed Services Committee meeting protesting war quagmires and continued spending on weapons and war.  

People arrested included Leah Bolger, vice president of Veterans for Peace, and Michael Patterson, Alli McCracken, Nancy Brennan, Michael Scheffer, and two others.
