Washington, DC—(ENEWSPF)—August 7, 2014. The U.S. Department of State warns U.S. citizens against non-essential travel to Liberia. After review of health conditions, the U.S. Department of State ordered the departure of family members residing with Embassy staff in Monrovia to begin August 8, 2014. U.S. government employees in Liberia will remain on active duty at the Embassy and additional staff are being deployed to assist the Government of Liberia in addressing the Ebola Virus Disease outbreak.
