UC Davis Police Chief Placed on Administrative Leave Pending Review of Officers’ Use of Pepper Spray Against Protesters

CALIFORNIA–(ENEWSPF)–November 21, 2011.  UC Davis announced today that the chief of the campus Police Department had been placed on administrative leave pending a review of officers’ use of pepper spray against protesters. UC Davis Lt. Matt Carmichael will serve as interim police chief.
