UN Calls for Calm After Renewed Violence Claims More Lives in Kyrgyzstan

NEW YORK–(ENEWSPF)–11 June 2010 – Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon called for calm today following reports of renewed clashes and several deaths in the southern Kyrgyz city of Osh, the latest unrest to hit the Central Asian nation after the violent uprising in April that ousted former president Kurmanbek Bakiyev.
