Newport News, VA-(ENEWSPF)- Darrell Walter Holmes, 38, of Chicago, Illinois, was sentenced today to 21 years in prison for aggravated sexual abuse of a child under the age of 12.
Neil H. MacBride, United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, made the announcement after sentencing by United States District Judge Mark S. Davis. Holmes was found guilty on March 26, 2010, following a four-day jury trial.
