Ford Vehicles Damaged by BB Gun


Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)– Police are investigating reports of automobiles apparently damaged by BB guns over the weekend. On March 30, police were called to the 300 block of Somonauk to investigate a report of criminal damage to prowperty.  The officer at the scene observed the window on the driver’s door of a gold Ford Focus shattered. The officer was unable to find any objects in the vehicle that could have broken the window. There also was no suspect information.

On March 31, a police officer was called to the 300 block of S. Orchard to investigate another report of criminal damage to property.  In this case, the rear driver side window of a Ford Taurus was reported shattered.  The officer at the scene determined that the damage was most likely caused by pellets from a BB gun.  Once again, there was no suspect information.

Again on March 31, a police officer was called to the 300 block of Oswego to investigate yet another report of criminal damage to property.  In this case again, a Ford vehicle was reported damaged. Here, the window on the driver’s door of a 2003 maroon Ford Windstar was reported shattered.  The officer on the scene determined that the damage was most likely caused by pellets from a BB gun.  There was no suspect information at this time.
