Gurnee, IL–(ENEWSPF)–August 18, 2011. At 1:16 this afternoon, the Gurnee Police Department was alerted to an active shooter in the vicinity of the 7500 block of Grand Avenue. Upon arriving at the scene, police located two victims with gunshot and stabbing wounds. A suspect was apprehended on the scene and is currently in police custody for questioning. The situation is stabilizing and it is believed that all offenders are now in custody.
