Chicago–(ENEWSPF)–March 8, 2011. Attorney General Lisa Madigan today announced a Chicago-area businessman entered guilty pleas to charges of fraudulently obtaining more than $18 million in public funds reserved for minority businesses.
Robert Blum, 58, of New Lenox, pleaded guilty to two counts of Minority Business Fraud. Judge Kevin Sheehan sentenced Blum, owner of Markham-based Castle Construction Corp., to two years probation and a fine of $20,000 and also imposed a $20,000 fine against the construction…
