Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)– A few Park Forest residents have reported incidents of mortgage/refinancing scams, according to Officer La Tara Chaney of the Park Forest Police Department. Officer Chaney issued an alert to members of the Neighborhood Watch program.
According to Officer Chaney, some residents “received emails/mailings with offers that sounded too good to be true. These incidents were investigated and discovered that they were indeed too good to be true.”
