Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)– Editor’s Note: We continue our reporting on news from police reports. Besides covering the many stories from around Park Forest that otherwise might go unnoticed, we want to bring more complete coverage of police reports than is reported by other local media.

A juvenile was arrested on May 21 and charged with disorderly conduct when an officer on patrol in the area of Wildwood Drive and Windsor Street observed a juvenile attempting to hide something, and then heard a clicking sound, consistent with a cocking of a firearm, according to police. The officer found that the juvenile had an air rifle BB gun, which was not loaded.
Sadiq A. Majekokunmi, 19, 22843 Lakeshore Dr., Richton Park, and Quentin Boyd, 19, 5034 Thomas Dr., Richton Park, were arrested on May 22 and charged with possession of cannabis when an officer on patrol in the 400 block of Lakewood Boulevard observed the occupants of a vehicle ducking down in an attempt to hide themselves as the officer passed by, according to police.
Enrique Hernandez, 50, 33 Cedar St., Park Forest, was arrested May 23 and charged with aggravated assault of a peace officer and possession of cannabis when police were dispatched to the first block of Cedar Street in response to a report of a domestic disturbance.
A swing set valued at $400 was reported stolen from the yard of a residence in the 300 block of Shabbona Drive on May 24.
The driver’s side window of a vehicle parked in the 200 block of Wilson Street was reported shattered on May 24.
Valerie S. Mikosz, 39, 16 Apple Ln., Park Forest, was arrested on May 25 and charged with domestic battery when police were dispatched to the first block of Apple Lane to investigate a report of domestic battery.
Donzel F. Howard, 19, 187 Westwood Dr., Park Forest, was arrested on May 25 and charged with possession of cannabis when detectives on patrol observed that the vehicle Howard was driving was blocking the entrance to a business in the 400 block of Sauk Trail, according to police.
An officer was dispatched to the Park Forest Police Department on May 25 to investigate a report of identity theft. A resident reported that a $135 charge had been made on her credit card without her permission.
The rear driver’s side door of a vehicle parked in the 100 block of Indiana Street was scratched and punctured on May 26, according to police.
Ester Lee Davis, Jr., 30, 1 Olympic Village, Chicago Heights, was arrested on May 26 and charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon by a felon when police were dispatched to the 300 block of Wildwood Drive to investigate a complaint of a disturbance. According to police, Davis allegedly pulled a handgun on a resident who had knocked on the door of a house in that block on Wildwood Drive where Davis was at the time, asking for his lawnmower back, allegedly telling him, “You ain’t getting shit back,” according to police.
A black and silver Mercedes-Benz model C320, IL registration H695425, was reported stolen from the first block of Ash Street on May 27.
Darnell Holmes, Sr., 57, 6 Allegheny Ct., Park Forest, was arrested on May 27 and charged with aggravated assault, domestic related, when police were dispatched to Allegheny Court to investigate a report of unlawful use of a weapon.
Steven C. Hasty, Jr., 26, 304 Sioux St., Park Forest, was arrested on May 27 and charged with domestic battery and interfering with the reporting of domestic violence when police were dispatched to the intersection of Shabbona Drive and Seneca Street to investigate a report of battery. While in custody, police learned that Hasty was also wanted by the McLean County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of failure to appear.
A juvenile was arrested on May 27 and charged with possession of cannabis when police were dispatched to the 200 block of Marquette Street to investigate a report of a 911 hang-up/misdial.
Two living room windows of a residence in the 100 block of Westwood Dr. were reported shattered by bricks on May 27.
