Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)–Editor’s Note: We continue our reporting on news from police reports. Besides covering the many stories from around Park Forest that otherwise might go unnoticed, we want to bring more complete coverage of police reports than is reported by other local media.

An arrest does not mean that a person is guilty. All those arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Alfred P. Savage, 46, 234 Arcadia St., Park Forest, was arrested on November 14 and charged with felony burglary when police were dispatched to the 200 block of Arcadia Street to investigate a report of a burglary in progress.

Five vehicles parked in the vicinity of 100 block of Elm Street and the first block of Fir Street were reported vandalized with scratch marks on November 14.

Two juveniles were arrested on November 15 and charged with disorderly conduct when police were dispatched to the 400 block of Rutledge Street to investigate a report of a suspicious person. Additionally, one of the juveniles was charged with criminal trespass to property.

Xavier I. Smith, 26, 10 McGarity St., Park Forest, was arrested on November 15 and charged with possession of cannabis when a vehicle in which she was a passenger allegedly disobeyed a stop sign at the intersection of Indianwood Boulevard and Lester Street, according to police. The driver of the vehicle was issued traffic citations charging disobeying a stop sign and possession of open alcohol by a driver.

A 10 karat gold wedding band valued at $500 and a gold ring valued at $300 with the name "Netta" engraved in it were reported stolen from a residence in the 100 block of Sauk Trail on November 17.

Reginald R. Eiland, 19, 413 Wilshire St., Park Forest, was arrested on November 17 and charged with underage consumption of alcohol and possession of alcoholic beverage by an underage person when police were dispatched to the 400 block of Sauk Trail to conduct a well-being check.

Andre S. Williams, 22, 3601 S. Lake Park Ave., Chicago, was arrested on November 17 and charged with possession of cannabis and issued citations charging speeding and television in the driver’s view. Police say an officer observed the vehicle Williams was driving traveling northbound on Western Avenue at 57 mph.

$3000 in miscellaneous security alarm components were reported stolen from a resident on November 18. Police say the victim told them he had hired a man to install security alarms and the man stole items from him. Police have suspect information.

A coffee can filled with approximately $300 miscellaneous change, a gold ring valued at $300, a gold ring with a diamond cluster valued at $500, a gold wedding band valued at $200, a pearl necklace valued at $1000, and an Apple MacBook Pro valued at $1600 were reported stolen from a residence in the 100 block of Nanti Street on November 18.

David A. Fitzsimons, 63, Briarwood Ct., Matteson, was arrested on November 18 and charged with felony retail theft when police were dispatched to Family Video, 373 Sauk Trail, to investigate a report of retail theft. Police allege Fitzsimons removed security tags from four DVDs and left the store. Police say they were waiting for him when he walked out of the store.

Xzavier L. Smith, 23, 10 McGarity St., Park Forest, and Kevin D. Anderson, 20, 19330 Wolf St., Apt. 6, Mokena, were arrested November 18 and each was charged with multiple felonies after police recovered a combined $1555 in counterfeit bills from the two. Police were dispatched to a business in the 100 block of South Orchard Drive when a business owner called after suspecting a $20 bill one of the men attempted to pay with was fraudulent. Smith was charged with three counts of forgery possession with intent and Anderson was charged with three counts of forgery issue or delivery of document, according to police.

Windows of three vehicles parked in the 100 block of East Sycamore Drive were reported shattered on November 19.

Police were dispatched to a residence in the 200 block of Berry Street on November 19 to investigate a claim of criminal damage to property. Police observed several pieces of electrical equipment that had been damaged. Police have suspect information.

Three juveniles were arrested on November 21 and given two municipal citations, each charging trespassing and underage consumption of alcohol, when police were dispatched to the 3400 block of Western Avenue to investigate a report of trespass to a vacant residence.
