Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)–Editor’s Note: We continue our reporting on news from police reports. Besides covering the many stories from around Park Forest that otherwise might go unnoticed, we want to bring more complete coverage of police reports than is reported by other local media.

An arrest does not mean that a person is guilty. All those arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty. At 1:31 a.m. August 27, police noticed a broken driver’s door window on a vehicle parked in front of 513 Lakewood Blvd. The owner checked the vehicle and found nothing missing.

At 8:33 a.m. August 31, police were called to a reported theft at Imageworks, 49 South St. Police spoke with an employee of the business who said on August 30 they noticed a roll of aluminum was missing, which weighted about 4300 pounds and valued at $7,525. There are no suspects.

At 7:33 p.m. August 30, a Park Forest woman reported her pit-bull was stolen from her backyard in the 0 – 100 block of Apple Lane. The victim described the dog as a 7-month-old reddish-brown pit-bull.

At 11:08 a.m. August 28, police were called to the 400 block of Lakewood Boulevard to investigate a domestic disturbance. Police arrested Gregory Norman, 32, of Park Forest and charged him with domestic battery.

At 10:38 p.m. August 27, police were called to the 200 block of Grant Street for a criminal damage to property complaint. A minor allegedly shattered the front window of a family member’s vehicle with a rock. The minor is charged with criminal damage to property and resisting a peace officer.

At 6:54 p.m. August 28, police were called to the 100 block of East Sycamore Drive for a domestic battery complaint. Police arrested the suspect, Tameka Harris, 27, of Park Forest on August 29 and charged her with domestic battery.

At 7:57 p.m. August 29, police were called to the 300 block of Nokomis Street for a neighbor dispute. A minor allegedly stole a basketball from a neighbor and hid it in his backyard. The minor was taken to the Park Forest Police Department and charged with theft.

At noon on August 29, police were called to 242 Arcadia St. to investigate a burglary from a motor vehicle. The victim told police someone had broke her passenger side window and took two purses containing miscellaneous items.

At 3:41 p.m August 28, police were called to the 500 block of Blair Street for a woman yelling threats at the complainant. Sabrina Carter, 41, of Park Forest allegedly yelled threats to the victim from the sidewalk in front of her residence. Carter was arrested and charged with obstructing identification and assault.

At 9:02 a.m. September 1, police were called to the 23400 block of South Western Avenue for a possible domestic battery. Police arrested Myron C. Claxton, 28, of Hazel Crest and charged him with domestic battery.

At 6:46 p.m. August 31, a Park Forest woman reported her vehicle had been stolen in the 500 block of Blair Street.

At 8:33 p.m. August 31, police were called to the 0-100 block of Arbor Trail to investigate a residential burglary. The victim reported unknown suspect(s) allegedly stole his shower head between noon and 6 p.m. on August 31.

At 5:13 p.m. August 31, police were called to the 200 block of Dogwood Street for a domestic disturbance. Police arrested Travis Terry, 21, of South Holland and charged him with domestic battery and criminal damage to property.
