Washington, D.C.–(ENEWSPF)– WASHINGTON—Farmington Hills, Michigan resident Baskaran Thangarasan was sentenced today to 57 months in prison for his participation in a fraudulent physical therapy scheme, announced the Departments of Justice and Health and Human Services (HHS).
U.S. District Court Judge Sean Cox in the Eastern District of Michigan sentenced Thangarasan to three years of supervised release following his prison term and ordered Thangarasan to pay $2.3 million in restitution, jointly with co-defendants.
