Police Officer Brandi Dalton Sworn In at Monday’s Village Board Meeting (Story/Video)

Park Forest, IL-(ENEWSPF)- Village Clerk Sheila McGann had the honors swearing in Officer Brandi Dalton at Monday’s meeting of the Village Board.

Officer Dalton grew up in Mishawaka, Indiana, and served in the United States Navy.

Village Manager Tom Mick introduced Officer Dalton, saying, "Officer Brandi Dalton joins the Park Forest Police Department after completing her enlistment with the United States Navy as an Information Systems Technician. During her five year tour she was stationed in various locations including Italy and most recently in Florida. Officer Dalton grew up in Mishawaka, Indiana, where she attended high school.

"Officer Dalton is currently attending the Suburban Law Enforcement Academy in Glenn Ellyn and graduated on June 24th. She is now in the Field Training program with the department for a 16 week period before going out on her own. Ms. Dalton currently resides in Griffith, Indiana and is pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree."
