Bureau of Land Management to Examine Air Pollution Before Approving New Oil & Gas Wells in Western Colorado

Litigation settlement also requires greater transparency in permit review

Denver, CO–(ENEWSPF)–August 5, 2013.  The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and four conservation groups today announced that BLM will reexamine the air pollution potential of 34 oil and gas projects involving more than 1,300 wells proposed on Colorado’s Western Slope.
