Climate Change to Profoundly Alter Great Lakes Region, Summary Report Says

ANN ARBOR–(ENEWSPF)–June 24, 2014.  Intense rainstorms, floods and heat waves will become more common in the Great Lakes region due to climate change in the coming decades, and ice-cover declines will lengthen the commercial navigation season on the lakes, according to a new summary report released today at the start of a three-day climate-adaptation conference at the University of Michigan.
