EPA Dismisses Petition to Ban 2,4-D

Washington, DC–(ENEWSPF)–April 12, 2012.  The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced Monday that it has rejected a petition to ban the widely used herbicide 2,4-D, dismissing epidemiologic studies that link the pesticide to cancer, endocrine disruption, and other human health effects.
