Global Temperatures Were 10th Warmest on Record for May

Washington, DC–(ENEWSPF)–June 16, 2011.  The globe experienced the 10th warmest May since record keeping began in 1880, as the climate phenomenon La Niña ended its 2011 cycle. The Arctic sea ice extent was the third smallest extent for May on record.
