WASHINGTON, D.C.–(ENEWSPF)–November 14, 2013. New state-by-state polling reports find that the vast majority of Americans in both traditionally red and blue states accept climate science and want government action to clean up climate pollution. The state reports were released by Rep. Henry A. Waxman (CA-33) and Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (RI), co-chairs of the Bicameral Task Force on Climate Change. Key findings showed that in every state surveyed, at least 75% of the population acknowledges the existence of climate disruption. The reports also showed that in every state surveyed, at least two-thirds of the population believes that the government should limit dangerous greenhouse gas emissions created by polluting industries.
